Little People’s Academy are independent Pre-primary and Primary schools based in Chatsworth. Our Silverglen branch accommodates Pre primary learners only.
Our Umhlatazana branch accommodates learners in pre-primary level to grade 4. The school plans to progressively move to the next grade each year up to grade 7.
At LPA, we endeavour to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where young people are guided by teachers to develop self awareness and positive relationships.
We strive to provide each child with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills to equip them to adapt and flourish in an ever changing world.

Our sports programme also provides learners with opportunities to stimulate and enhance their physical development.
Our aim is to provide a safe & secure environment which focuses on the social, emotional, personal, physical & educational development of a child in the absence of their parents & whilst under our care, through a highly dedicated, qualified & experienced team of educators. We follow a structured, well planned & balanced curriculum in a fun-filled environment.
Play Group: 2.5 – 3 years old
Nursery Group: 3 – 4 years old
Non-Readiness Group: 4 – 5 years old
Grade R: 5 – 6 years old
Grade 1: 6 -7 years old
Grade 2: 7 – 8 years old
Grade 3: 8 -9 years old
Grade 4: 9 -10 years old
Up to Grade 7 Progressively
Arrival time from 07:00 to 08:00.

Our school follows the Department of Education School Calendar.
We are closed on all public school and religious holidays.
Children are expected to wear full school uniform which is designed to be simple & comfortable for children to move around in.
The uniform can be purchased from the school.
12h15 – 15h00 or 12h15 – 16h00
Parents are to provide all lunches, snacks & beverages for their children.
